Approach

My training as a Clinical Psychologist is diverse and in-depth and I was privileged to train at prestigious universities including University College London (UCL). My practice is firmly grounded in current evidence-based theory, research, and best-practice guidance.

My role is to meet you where you’re at, to help you to make sense of your experiences and support you in moving forward towards your personal goals. To do this I work using a range of therapeutic approaches which I tailor to each individual’s needs, goals, and circumstances.

The approaches I most commonly draw on include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), including trauma-focused CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy and Systemic Therapy.

I am particularly interested and experienced in working with individuals with lived experience of trauma. Additionally, alongside my clinical training, my academic background has shaped my interest in the influence of culture, society, and personal history on mental health and wellbeing.

With a warm and empathic approach, a safe space is created for exploring what has brought you to therapy. Working collaboratively we can develop a holistic and individualised treatment plan, reflecting on your experiences with compassion and understanding, in order to move towards meaningful and achievable goals at your pace.
